It's all about the classics. 1-3 may have had the same beat, but at least they stayed with the original idea. None of that lame "Oh! The kids are now the digimon!" bull. And the fifth was just lame, period. I mean with theme and show wise. If you don't agree, sucks to be you.

When I learned about season 5, I was excited and watched it in Japanese. It was glorious. I was excited to see it ported to the US, but when Jetix/Disney got a hold of it...they completely didn't care about it (since the previous seasons we're within a couple years of each other) and destroyed the source material. The saving grace was fucking Marcus -- he PUNCHED GIANT DIGIMON IN ORDER TO GET AGUMON TO DIGIVOLVE!

Who wouldn't love that? Season 5 will be my favorite, always.

Completely agree, 4th season was the best, my favorite no doubt. Although it did stray from the original digimon concept of having a digimon partner, the I loved the idea of turning into digimon and I loved the storyline, the characters, the new digimon. I just loved it, god damn, I should go watch season 4 again haha

I loved all the seasons and their themes, but I think I loved the 4th season the best. Mainly because the concept of the actual thing was kind of changed. Rather than having a Digimon partner, they actually became the Digimon which made it so much more cooler and different. I mean, in the 3rd season, sure they Bio-Merged (if that's how it's spelled), but it wasn't the same. Then again, the older ones are really good, too...

Season one and two were excellent; nothing beats the original tamers. However, season three was it for me. That was MY season. I had almost all of the merchandise they put out for season three; I adored it. It wasn't the usual type of, "Oh, let's team up with these monsters and go here and do stuff." It had a lurking storyline, and I LOVED the characters! With only three (sometimes four), you could really get attached to them and KNOW them. Season four? It was so-so. Best theme song, though.

1. Adventure since it started it all

2. Tamers. I would put Adventure 02, but I hate the bullshit ending, the plot holes, the putting the rest of the team on a bus for Davis and Ken, and not not having more T.K. Plus, I like the idea the Digimon had a limit and placed more emphasis on Partners.

3. Adventure 02. Stated above.

4. Frontiers. Great idea and great subplots.

5. Savers- honestly, didn't give it a try. I need to so I can watch Xros Wars.

What I thought about the seasons:

Seasons 1&2..... PURE EPICNESS!!

Season 3, pretty much the same with different characters and situations but overall really great!

Season 4, wait.... where are their partners!?! They TRANSFORM into Digimon!?!?! DAFUQ?

Season 5, hmmm... getting back to the roots sorta... but remaking agumon and his digivolutions was lame so thumbs down.

Preferred seasons:

Tamers and Data Squad (after like the 12 episodes it starts becoming good)

I preferred their more real life story point than the other seasons.

Digimon is an idea, each season is in its own universe which follow the rules according to their universe (apart from season 2, which had plot holes even I found out when I was a kid)

Season 2: New cast, but the same old ones too, and family members! The torch has been passed, with a little help from the original tamers! And it actually HAD A ENDING as far as adulthood. The end of 2 seasons, cool.

Season 3: A bit confusing at first, I learned to love it.

Season 4: It was new, but in the good way.

Season 5: ....Okay, I think we just need to stop here.

Fortunately, we got the original songs just sung in our language, ALTHOUGH, the translation to our language is based in english translation.

I never saw the end of the fourth season. The 3rd and 4th were my favourite - although I never saw the end of the 4th - one reason being being the kids were actually useful in fights and did something other than stand on the sidelines and shout encouragement. And I love Guilmon.
