Oh dear, if A) You knew your accents, and B) Bothered to look it up, you'd know the accent is cockney, and the actor who voices the gecko is Jake Wood - A British actor and comedian. And by the way the gecko in specific is a Madagascan Day Gecko, which ironically are native to Madagascar, not Australia.

My absolute favorite Commercials are those with the gecko lizard. He can make me laugh even when I feel sad. I won't even let my husband fast forward pass these commercials. I would pay to have a DVD of all his commercials. I just love him!
