  • This is a great cover, giving life to a song which I never had any interest in as sung by Albert Hammond.

  • This is certainly one of the examples where the Khmer cover beats the original. I actually never cared for this song before I heard Poev Vannary!

  • Nice version for this classic song. Please visit my channel RHYTMS AND STYLES..a song or melody with a different style and/or rhythm. Thanks.

  • Wow...interesting....Quite an oldie....

  • I used to listen to her back then, she sounded pretty good, first Cambodian woman to sing in English back then. She did a good job, look pretty also.

  • I love all the songs you've uploaded man!

  • I adore this!

  • This is such a beautiful covered song. I did not know it was sung by Pouev Vannary. She's brilliant! I read in one of Jeffmagic's videos that she performed many of American folk songs and even wrote the lyrics of these songs in Khmer. She looks so beautiful in this video. I miss her so much! :( Thank you so much for posting, Bong!

  • i love this song.

    R.I.P. pou vannary

  • oh shit....i remember hearing this song when i was a lil spec...hot omggg...!

  • It's wind, not rain, Santa Ana wind in SoCal. She had such a nice voice.

  • hey is ture becuase i live in souther cali and it never rain well only some time not all rarelly

  • Hey she speak better English then some old folks, that I know of. Hahah LoLz

  • It's because she went to Khmero school, Boeung Trabek High School ... which was one of the schools in Phnom Penh that taught English as their main curriculum instead of French. She is a great singer indeed.

  • Thx for the info BUT I was kind of being funny. Like how when ppl exaggerated, but yeah Heheh;P

  • I think this is my favorite cover song of hers. Of course, it helps I live in So Cal. :-D About the image - did you make that album cover or else where did it come from?

  • I made it from a picture I had of her, what part of So Cal are you from?

  • Oh, nice work. I'm from LA - Sherman Oaks to be exact.

  • Jeffmagic I'm right by you in beautiful San Fernado Valley city of Van Nuys. My dad is a member of a KHMER band here in the Valley. Should check them out one day. :)

  • ah, Van Nuys - I know it well. I would love to check out some local Khmer music - Where/when does you dad's band play?
