I had a Border Collie named Lucky when I was a kid. He could catch Frisbees seven feet in the air and do dozens of tricks. He always won the trick categories at dog shows. Later we moved to a ranch and taught him to be a cattle dog. He loved it so much, and we loved him. Miss you Lucky!
I befriended one recently. He's really, really spoiled though, so I don't know if he'll ever do tricks of this magnitude. I don't care though... I wanted him because of the emotional attachment. My best friend had a border collie a long time ago, and I swear that dog really was my friend too. He was awesome. He was just... cool. :)
lol my border collie harley can do like over 1,000 tricks and louey the one that i call loubear or fat louey cant do tricks only howl like a wolf and then back at my cabin where my friends live i have a nice wolf oh ya

I have two collie girls like yours, one black and white- Skye and the other is blue merle- Bridie (I also have an old boy called Sam who is sable and white, but he's a rescue and very old, and not interested in learning tricks!) But they're so clever, sometimes spookily clever, but your girls are gorgeous, keep up the good work!! xx

Love your dogs! they are so adorable and well trained. I used to have one, she was very obedient much like yours but not as many tricks. she would go get us stuff we wanted, put her toys away in a box, the normal stuff like shake, lay, sit but we taught her how to sit on her hind legs like your dog does but mine didnt cross her paws but it was cute all the same. thank you for sharing this video with us =)

aww, I know just how you feel, it's so sad to lose a dog like that :-( My dog, Emma that died, she looked a lot like Holly (and your Murphy) but she wasn't really like Holly or Mabel in her character. I still feel sad if I think about it now but now I focus on the good times and that is really lovely. Holly and Mabel will never replace my Emma but I love them just as much. aww, Charlie sounds so funny, Holly had way big ears when she was a pup! hehe!! what breed is he?xxx

you mean had a dog that has died? yes, I have had two dog that died, the first one hit me hardest as I was very close to her indeed, I grew up with her and she was very special to me. it's the worst feeling losing a dog that you love a lot, I never thought I would get over it or love other dogs again but of course I love the two dogs I have now to bits so you do heel in time. Murphy will live on in your heart forever, but don't forget to make the most of your new dog too.xxx

Im considering getting a BC to work with (HTM, Obidience, Agility) and i was wondering if anyone can give me any info that i should know about the breed?
hey, main thing to know about BC's is that they need a lot of exercise and time spent with them, they are not the kind of dog to fit in well if you are out of the house for long hours but if you love walking/outdoor activities, training tricks (with positive reinforcement, BC's are a sensitive breed and respond very well to positive training) they are pretty healthy dogs but you have to watch out for hip problems. wonderful dogs but not if you like a quiet life!! haha!!

Well done! Love the crawling weaves. That would work great with a song or story about a snake. Your dog is so smooth with it he/she "slithers" :-) Very cool looking!

That was absolutely amazing! I love the crawling weave! So creative. I might have to borrow that idea for a freestyle routine. :) I also really love both dogs weaving. I seriously think I need another border collie, Bandit needs competition. hehe! Isabelle is too lazy for him. :) Nice job Mable and Holly! Great training Sian! 5*s and a favorite! :)

Great work! Great video! Loved it all but especially the double leg weave, crawl weave, back circles, ok, all of it!...and the music went so well with the dogs working with you. (I'm a big Michael Flatley fan! -Lord of the Dance & Feet of Flames, etc.) How much does it cost to ship dogs to Scotland? Keen needs to visit you! LOL

Holy Cow!! This is great!! I love the double through the leg bit, and Holly crawling through your legs is fantastic! Plus you got Holly to jump into your arms!!! I remember you telling me she didn't like to be picked up, so, you will have to tell us how you did this. Loved every minute, especially the 'on location' shots; so beautiful! 5* & a favorite for sure.
