Man, who composed this music at 1:11, and onward? I can't find it anywhere, and it's not on the score. I need to know the name of the song and its composer, if anyone can help me out. Thanks.
I like both The Golden Compass and Narnia. Both of them together offer a neutral view between religion and atheism. But each of them alone is too biased though. Nobody is really able to prove whether God is real or unreal.
im in this film and it comes out in december in england! although its a english film the director and most of the crew were american! and the main chaerctor dakota is really full of her self,,,this is her first movie and theres no doubting her acting but a couple of times she cried on set because she didnt like our tutor!lol but the scenes i did were really cool but hard work! lol i hope that you enjoy it!
This looks actually.. quite good. I heard Ian McShane was voicing one of the animals (thought it was the Polar bear). Anyway, they could have made it incredibly lame but it looks like it will be quite badass.
It is no surprise that it looks like Narnia, one reason Pullman wrote "His Dark Materials" is, that he didn't like the christian influences in C. S. Lewis work.
Hence the anticlirical tone (e. g. Marisa Coulter is the leader of the Gobblers and has great influence in the church)

You were in it!?!? What part did you play? Was it exiting? Fun? Did you get to meet the entire cast???
Sorry...I've always wanted to be in that movie...Even before it was a movie! Sadly I don't live in any of the places they held the auditions :(

Nvm, I think Ian McKellan is actually voicing the bear, Iorek Byrnison. McShane is voicing Ragnar Sturlusson. High caliber actors.

erm. It says that it's coming out in December. Is it America or Europe?

Wouldn't it make more sense it's Europe? It's a British movie

I'm really excited to see this, but I'm a bit nervous cause it looks a lot like Narnia, which I totally hate.
Just hope Kidman,Green and Craig will make it work!
