  • Fascinating how you do that! Was that black 'cloud storm' charcoal? We learned a bit about that in an art class many moons ago.. I think we were working with wax pensils, and then charcoal..or was that vice-versa{?}..hmm~ Anyway, it I remember it was like seeing magic from the instructor, and again here! Excellent! =)

  • Fantastic video and painting. I'm perplexed as to how you see your original drawing after it's painted over. Would i be "scratching the surface" to say you're not using charcoal? Regardless, it's great work on so many levels.

  • I am a cityscape artist myself , oil is my medium . Iam a bit sceptical about putting in a fairly accurate dawing then painting over everything in black probably acrylic , talk about adding work to work!lol. Just paint a basic background in acrylic usually a light blue , then the drawing then the usual dark to light , as darker colours dry faster . Question of saving time increasing production. The result is not bad . Welldone anyway.

  • Beautiful colors, do you prime your panel and then scratch the swirls into it? Great video.

  • Pretty cool... try 'em in different Seasons, you know, the foliage, or the lack of it.

  • wow!! this is great! there is nothing better than your boston cityscapes!! cool video.
