well, let's start with the tax cuts Bush awarded to those wealthiest 4% who make more than $200,000. I don't think they are proportionally represented in the U.S. military. In fact, many soldiers are economically-disadvantaged economic minorities and most enlist in the military so that they can go to college. The challenge is to come home unmained and not in a body bag.

Yes, I know the wealthiest 4% provide a huge chunk of the government's revenue, but if most of them had their way, they wouldn't have to pay for anything. Productivity is good, but it doesn't guarantee wealth. That requires combining hard work with either luck or exploitation. I have nothing against success--I just find massive greed and exploitation sickening.
