Good for kids to play around with. I wouldn't want my kids smashing my 120 dollar force FX or even more expensive master replica sabers around. I mean it still looks pretty decent as long as you don't actually touch it and feel how cheaply it is made. Could be a little cheaper still.

I bought both for my kids, I have every FX saber from Master Replicas, got the last of the ROTJ Luke Skywalker sabers. So hey, if my kids are happy with them, i'm glad. At least I didn't waste money on myself. =]

I saw these in the Meijer yesterday and it was pulled out of the box lying there on the shelf, so I gotta chance to hold it and it was soooo bad. I could literally feel it's cheapiness as I picked it up. If you want a lightsaber, buy an ultrasaber. I understand that these are made for kids and they're cheap, so I won't troll. This video shows the true color of the blade. Most videos I've seen, the camera makes the blade look brighter and more like the movie , with white down the center and the color glow is on the outside.

@henryo75 Master Replicas' are more "realistic" as in the thing ain't plastic, but metal and glass fiber. However, they are not for playing around with, these ones are more suitable for that. Yet the best one I've got is a chinese ripoff that is entirely covered with foam, that thing has endured hits from a bokken and it still looks as good as new.

@lilcapone9525 it will break, the "tube/blade" is plastic, not glass, but I would not suggest whacking it on something too hard, unlike the $100 version, the handle is really rubbery.

this is actually pretty impressive for a toy since alot of toys now are really bad and really poor quality. I think this will be a hit with children and mabye some young adults. in all in my opinion, I would give this toy an 8.5/10 only because of the hilt itself being not as exact as an FX saber, but pretty close to it.
