  • Short time? This indent was used for 13 years...

  • Drum roll..............

It's the Muppet Show! With our very special guest star...Christopher Reeve!!! yayayayyayyayyayay!!!!

  • Who's the broad at @0:04?

  • Are you Polish twat who blocks videos?

  • As many people in the comments have explained. "great stuff the fake head was used for grey scale and colour balance for film"

  • Why was there a doll early on in this sequence? Creepy.

  • great stuff the fake head was used for grey scale and colour balance for film

  • fake head = subliminal message

  • @kargaroc386 What's the subliminal message then? Can you tell us? No you can't because there isn't one. It's used to balance colour on film. You probably don't even know what film is as you've been bought up on digital crap.

  • @airscrew1 why are you so rude? Perhaps you don't know what common courtesy is as you've been brought up to talk to people like they're crap.

  • Brought back many happy memories ie Crossroads and ATV Today. Now look at the state of ITV, very sad.

  • @Markbiceps

Where I live Border Television is now flat earth and once mighty companies like HTV and Yorkshire have largely been destroyed as well. Now all ITV seem to show are braindead reality shows, tedious soaps and drivel like This Morning.

  • @Markbiceps -how right you are-the state now of ITV is very sad indeed!

Many thanks for the posting as well though.

  • my sisters Yorkshire terrior used to howl to this :D

  • Those mannequin heads feature frequently in the lead-up section of stuff like this. Always puzzled me and gave me the s***s in equal proportions. Agreed, probably a colour test.

  • @tyreburster Why does this freak us out, especially where film is concerned?! It's a completely innocent frame, but its like spooking me out!

  • @tyreburster It's to make sure the film colour is good. Often film can distort the flesh tones so it gives the Telecine operator a visual check.

  • I don't remember this but it's cool. Check out that mannequin head - spooky!

  • Why the woman dummy's head at the beginning ?

  • prob for a color check on the test pattern
