Ft Sill was awesome when I was there in 06. Not a female in sight. The DS would gut check stupid Joes. The DS choked one guy until he passed out because he wouldnt quit calling people "Nigga". One let us have grudge fist fights one day while we were on our FTX. Everything I though Basic should be and more. Too bad they let females go there now.

@tubekyle2 Echo company. DS Moyers, Whitfield, Felix, Ernst to name the hard ones. I also enjoyed the down time in the field. Nice scenery out there. Killer thunderstorms. Very bad flooding while I was there caused us to miss out on some training but I had a ball anyway. I'm sure some of the guys were traumatized by some of the things that happened . lol DS Whitfield is the man. He dont give a fuck. I can still hear him saying "AT EASE FUCKERS!!"

I joined and I had the best time ever! Dont get me wrong, its not always fun. The classes were the worse due to lack of sleep. Dont fall asleep in those classes, because they will hand your ass to you. One of my DS once said I am not here to do in 8 weeks what your parent should have done in 18 years. having respect and disciplined. Good luck to those that might be joining and just make the best of it. Its physically challenging, but its more mental.

@tmac83100 Hello, they don't have male and females together anymore. In 2001 my class was actually the last class to have coed. You will be training with only females. If I can give you any adivise let me know. Don't be scared, it's not that bad. Oh, and the gas chamber sucks but it's also fun. Where else do you get to do that? just don't eat before you go in, they will actually try and trick you and let you eat ice cream so you can get sick. Just stay strong and make the best of it!
