The guy said that when the Earth blew up Samantha thought she got revenge and then in the next call of duty there will be zombies continuing the series. In one of those zombies maps there is a game mode called "Everything's Gone Wrong". You start off launching back to Earth only to find zombies everywhere in the messed up Earth. And later map packs will come out with more stories to the series Everything's Gone Wrong

Actually, the Kassimere Mechanism is the combonation of the VR-LL Device (golden rod with the focusing stone inside,then charged by the plates) then placed inthe Aether Pyramid to be energized with souls using Element 115. It was used to trap Samantha and Ludvig Maxis inside so they could not stop Richtofen.
