The most accurate version I've seen yet. I just wish I could see the keys you are hitting a little better (I don't really know my chords on piano yet...)
This is indeed a very good tutorial, and I agree with LOOKN450. The fact that your are giving chords is a lot better than giving note by note. Things you could also explain to us (if you have some time): how some of the chords you play along are inverted so they can be played more easily on the piano, or the nice trick of how changing the base of a chord changes the whole chord sometime (ame thing as inverted chords). Anyway THANKS for the lesson :-)
i'm a really ameatur , but when i see this tutorial. Now i can play it , and i just learn it for 1 day. So THNK YOU VER MUCH FOR THE TUTORIAL. IT'S REALLY HANDFUL
to the person saying do a little homework... were not all 6 month piano students some people just wanna learn a song dont kill us if we cant do it iwthout lessons and need to get on with our lives but seriously GREAT VID THIS IS AMAZING
As a 6 month, semi self-taught piano student, I'm getting a good workout with your tutorial, and I appreciate it for two reasons. First of all, it sounds accurate, and secondly, by not showing every finger playing every note, I have to listen harder which helps me to learn it better, and to everyone complaining about your not spelling it out note for note, people, do a little homework, look up what a 6th chord is, a slash chord is, etc... Thanks for your time and for a fine job !!!!
@LOOKN450 You're very welcome! I'm glad you got more out of it than just the notes. I don't put the camera directly above the keyboard because I don't have anything to hold it there. I'll continue doing harder songs by saying the chords and going note-by-note for easier parts.
@IndyJ10 it looks extremely similar to a Yamaha MO8 (i have one and it's really good) only difference i saw was the buttons were moved around a little. but yeah try searching Yamaha MO8
Thanks for posting this classic. The sheet music for Glenn Frey's original piano part for The Eagles' "Desperado" can be found at manymidi.com/sheetmusic.htm - a note-for-note transcription.
piano man, anychance on you redoing the chords on this video? I enjoy yoru version much more, and just slowing down teh Chords a little ( more explanation to the newbies) seems like it would go along way. thanks agian the Intro was perfect!
i have to see your fingers to be able to learn it could you make a vidio with the camera above you looking down at your fingers ( a beginner) thats all i need to be able to see all the fingers and i have found i can learn a lot of songs if they show it this away
Hey man i could use your help cause my dream is to be a country musician but i want to play piano and sing....can you help me out...you prolly don't read comments on these vids but i thought i would try anyway
damn you dont even explain how to play it your just play it and blurt out crap like c minor 6 if you put HOW TO in a video title make sure you explain HOW TO play it....
this makes no sense...blurting out c minor 6 and crap idk what that means!!! you coulda took the time and showed us each note instead of just play play play play
The beginning of the tutorial was great cuz you did it step by step, but if you wanted the tutorial to be good you would have slowed down when teaching the chorus. You might as well have posted a video of you playing the song instead because it was too fast and frustrating and hard to follow for someone just learning the song. However you do play the song well and you did a great job teaching the beginning. Thanks for the start but I think I have to go try another tutorial
Good stuff, a great help!

Can you teach the notes of the chords? I can't see them in the verse and you don't detail that :(.
