In Islam, no one knows what Allah is thinking or planing, he doesn't allow some things to occur, but otherwise lets everything else play out. Only prophets have been told by Allah that they have been chosen, and now they are all dead. To say that "I have been chosen by Allah" is just plain coincided/stupid.
