Back in the day my ex BF introduced me to Ezio. He was from Cambridge and I was blown away. Loved the music scene there especially at the Junction! Recently was at Corn Exchange singing & spoke to lightinng guy who knew Ezio & ex BF so full circle & I's like to thank the ex for this.
Rupert Hine tends to make any music he produces sound like Rupert Hine music. He has such a distinctive own sound. What Ezio and Booga needed on that album was completely neutral input from the producer. and they didn't get it.He is a big name is Hine.See early Chris de Burgh etc if you can stomach it.
They are a very good Band! I saw them in Newcastle Upon Tyne a few years ago and the concert was amazing. Small venue, nice people, wonderful music and lots of drinks.. what else can I have.. oh yes.. maybe some more girls! :D
For me, the best Song of Ezio. I like this version more than playing it with the band.
The lyrics are so wonderful. When you close your eyes, you can see the heaven, the bar and the angel standing there smoking a cigar. . . . . . "Please don't be stupid Let me sleep tonight . . . .
Absolutely!! I first saw them in the summer 2000 as support for another band and since have seen them maybe 20 times (hm....guess you could call me a fan then ;-) ) - it's been worth it every single time!!!
saw them in den'bos' Holland a million years ago, bought the video, went back to my digs and bought a video player, does this make me a fan, still got the video but that player died a long time ago :)
to be fair i don't think they'd actually want to be massive... they're the kind of act who like the small imtimate gigs that they play, and it wouldn't work as well any other way :)
I was there too, but they've only go tbetter since, there's nothing to compare to Ezio live, on form they're the best in the contry. What the hell is wrong with the public that these guys haven't make it much bigger in the uk?
I can't believe this gig was 8 years ago. I'll never forget the atmosphere when they came out. It was just stunning... the whole crowd singing along... the whole gig was just bloody AMAZING. You can't imagine the delicacy and power coming from their guitars... it's superb. I'll never forget that gig. Especially as my fizog is in the front row, hahaha. :D Love ya Ez and Boogs!!!
This song and these guys are great, I saw them for the first time in 1999 that was before I moved to the states, they're one of the reasons why I miss home, that's why this video means so much to me... If whoever posted it has any other vids please post them for me doesn't matter what album.. black boots, higher doesn't matter... again great post, look forward to more...
hear this on ya headfones full volume and power. its sooo awesome#!
