Ah, well xD Then maybe you should find some other place high that he/she can go to? My cats liek to get atop the chairs, cabinets.. anything to make them eye level with us.
My cats get up there all the time. They geton the counter, then fridge, then the top of the cabinets. They like it up there. Its a safety zone where they can see alot of whats happening, so you should jsutlet your cat go up there. If they can get up, they can get down.
next time just push it down

My cat does that sometimes, and he's old. He can get down on he's own. When he's ready. lol
