zac has very very very little parts in singing in hsm. but in hairspray he is doing his own singing because he can but his voice is not high enough for hsm. additionally if u listen to start of something new.. listen to the last line/s "the start of something new....the start of something new" at the end. compare with the voice before and its zac

yep sorry CindyMousey it was Drew who sang all except a few lines. listen to the recording and there's a huuuuge huge difference between the two voices. zac sounds like he has a cork in his nasal passage, whilst drew sounds amazing though boybandish.

Umm Actually, Drew Seeley DID sing in the movie. ALL the songs, the only part Zac sung was the beginning of "Breaking Free"... you can tell when the voices switch...

Yes he did. It's pretty widely known by HSM fans. They dubbed Drew's vocals in for Zac (look at your soundtrack CD booklet), but Disney doesn't want people to know about it so it's not posted on Drew's myspace.

You can tell in the songs when Zac's voice switches to Drew's in "Start of Something New" (right after "anything can happen when you take a chance) and "Breaking Free" (right after the first "we can't reach").
