Ps. I still have the sovernier pen-knife with the Evoluon logo on it. Would be fantastic to get hold of the Evoluon radio shaped like the building. Thanks nitrogencolonel for uploading this video.
Continue: The 3D pictures, the vibrating steel bar with the stroboscope, the miniature airport, the air liquid gas in which we could put the long entrance paper ticket and broke like glass. I am really sorry my son and daughter never got to see this, it would have been a real treat to take the whole family and revisit this amazing place.
I had the fortune to visit Evoluon in the late 60´s during my family´s yearly holiday in europe. It was truly amazing for a 10 year old boy like me to see all these inventions. Especially I remember the restaurant with all those microwave owens in long rows in which all food was cooked.
i was born in 1970, just a couple of yards from this place. Unfortunately when i was old enough to visit the Evoluon, it wasn't there anymore! But i'm sure even today in 2007 people would be amazed by this incredible need robot. I'm sure it would have been my favourite thing at the Evoluon, together with the 'marble-rollercoastertrack'..(dont know the english word)..That was also sooo cool!!!
Amazing, It moves like today's robots. The difference being today's are mostly pre-programmed, this one dynamically followed sound, hence the clapping and other noises made by the onlookers. Wonderful machine.
quite smooth movement - very nice

Looking at this 20th century example reaffirms my faith in the probability of cyborganic mimicry. On ho, Blade Runner!
