Larrypint -- regarding your advice that the Iranians "stay peaceful," if you mean that otherwise they lose moral authority, I strongly disagree. The Iranians are being subjected to mortal attack, with the goal of a) killing leaders and b) terrorizing everyone into silence. The only moral injunction they have is: do what is best to defeat this nightmare Islamic Republic, which slaughters peoples who assert their rights. Self-defense is a RIGHT, subject only to *tactical* considerations.
