It's a Taurus. Whether it be a ford or not, its mechanics are indestructible. My mom's, sitting still, got hit by an F350 super duty, which was going at 60 mph. It drove away. Can't argue that it was a beast.

@polio4 That's what I was thinking. There are many charities out there that will take used cars that people might think nobody wants, fix them up to be run~able then give them to people that might not be able to afford a used car at an average price. Although I am sure these guys had alot of fun, that Taurus could have went to somebody that really needed it.

that the IFS inertia fuel switch all fords have that. some are in the trunk some in the dash. if it gets hit or in an accident it cuts the power to the fuel pump. if you can kick a ford hard enough in the right spot...no start.
