Ace was a good rock guitar player but he wasn't a great musician, but to say he couldn't play is a dumb statement considering that he contributed to so much classic Kiss music and their performance live, and most Kiss fans prefer that era. Paul Stanley can't play guitar worth a damn.

KISS continue success without those two!!!

@theelder91 Both were wrong? Ace left the band because of the over commercialization and Gene as well as Paul focusing too much on the show and not enough on the music. Ace has a good solo career going for him as well. KISS will never be what they were before, even with Bruce they were great. But to put the original 4 members make-up on and pretend nothings changed? Gene should focus on Nick and managing , Paul should focus on Evan. End of story.

Gene Simmons is one of the smartest business men around. He is very succesful and has worked hard ... but ... I'm not interested in a band that is there to market a product with a gimmick solely to make as much money as possible. I would rather see a band that is passionate about there music and has a lot of talent than someone who can't really play well and puts their name on everything. I don't dislike Kiss, before anyone has an aneurysm, I think their music is good.
