  • Very wise words!

  • You're a very good coach, explaining everything in detail.

  • Damn, I loved that last part: "You don't have to train harder, you just have to train smarter"... Been training for 15 years, thought I knew everything but this guy helped me and taught me a lot, and not only have I learnt from him about proper technique, but i have also pass this knowledge onto many people by saying: "I learned it from a guy on youtube, dude is awesomeee". Thank you, vic. From Colombia.

  • Hi Mr Vic, your biceps are amazing!!! I tell you, i've been using your technique for about a month now and I'm so psyched about my results. My arms are always sore, tight and pumped like never before. I dropped down a lot of weight, but it feels so much better and i feel i'm really working my biceps now. Focused. And i really enjoy it. Cheer Vic, thank you.

  • Hey Vic, I'm 17 years old, and i noticed my arms are getting smaller because i work them out 2-4 times a week, i just learned from your video that letting it rest is better than keep working them out, so i just wanted to know if I i can still improve my arms by letting it rest and work them out once or twice a week?

    Thanks!

  • @Jlusional

Indeed friend, You have to rest. The body will respond when you treat it kinder. Best, Vic

  • how tall are u vic? 6'0 ?

  • hello sir been following ur instructions for a while a it feels great.I want to know if there is a difference between iron and rubber weights.I know the normal reply is 20pounds rubber=20pounds iron. But i always fell more pumped up after exercizing from iron plates.I looked all over internet could not find anything about it.Please do comment.love from India.

  • @nemesis1ization

    Hi Friend,

If the poundages are accurate- sir, how can it be? Sometimes the sound a feel of iron clanging lends itself to the complete experience of training whereas, rubber weights feel very "spa" like. Nothing like a basement gym, with low ceilings, metal weights and hard work. Cool right? Now, the question at first glance seems like a "brain teaser". However, I'm not one for immediately poking fun. Why does a 100 pound weight feel light and a 66 pound child feel heavy? Vic

  • Your videos are so informative and interesting, I find myself constantly looking for more of your videos. No other bodybuilder on YouTube goes into such detail with their workouts! Keep it up vic!

  • @RobJoness

Thanks friend . Happy New Year and good health.

    Vic

  • Mr Vic, I have to mention in the 12 plus years i've been training and studying, on and off, no one has ever mentioned the "keep your hands relaxed" theory. And it is such a key to keeping the focus and tension in the muscle you are working. This method of training has forever changed the way i approach my workouts. And i've been seeing amazing results. Especially my back! Cheers Mr Vic, thank you!!

  • Hi Vic, I just wanted to thank you for changing my entire outlook of training. I was training in a very stressful fashion, where I was doing more straining than training. I actually workout in a "meditative" state now. I tell you, it FEELS great!! Cheers Vic, I believe you've got a method that no one else on the web has and more and more natural bodybuilders are going to be watching you. Thanks so much!!

  • @Univox68

You are most welcome. There is a big difference between training and enjoying what you are doing. The results have to be better when you incorporate pleasure and fun into what you are doing. We act like this is serious. It's not, it is just an activity that we take seriously. Big difference in perspective and leaves the door open for a bit more fun. Peace, Vic

  • Hi Vic thank you for your great vids but the problem I'm facing is that my biceps are really exhausted after doing my back so what do u think i'can do ?? Thanxxx

  • @kabylis Train them on another day. You don't necessarily have to do them on the same day as back. Improvise, try different configurations of your workout to find what works best. Vic

  • Hi Vic first thank you for your great vids

  • So the debate ensues about eating. I am delighted to put up any posts that stirs debate. It is good to have a different perspective from everyone. However, when it comes to eating. The debate as I see it is which is more important eating "right" or training. There is a great understanding between men and women that I believe we can all agree, "garbage in - garbage out". This goes for the mind - and the body. It is not a judgmental statement it simply elementary. Love your body- Peace all,Vic

  • I listened so intently as I watched with admiration.

  • Hi Vic, i would like you to ask you how many reps and exercices do you do for your biceps?

  • @MrFalco28

2 exercises and between 8 to 12 reps per set.

  • Some serious wisdom in here. Thanks.

  • @MrFrothinger

I do back and biceps, chest and triceps, shoulder and legs, abs and calves every other day.

However, sometimes I am too tired to finish a workout so- If I am exhausted on back day, I'll just come in and do biceps the following day with abs and calves. When I am tired, my body tells me, " Hey, I take care if you, now don't hurt me". I honor this message from my body and I take a break. when you hear this message, try to follow it - it is never wrong. Peace, Vic

  • @vicsnatural - I just ordered your entire set of resources, man. I've been plateau'd for as long as I can remember and put it down to a genetic ceiling. Hopefully, you'll be able to help me with that. Thanks very much - inspirational stuff.

  • @MrFrothinger

Please come to Facebook vicsnatural victor costa trainer- we'll continue the dialogue, good will , ideas and inspiration. I posted something this evening, I hope you enjoy it. Vic

  • Insane bicep peak!

  • Great advice, much appreciated. You have excellent videos!

  • "You don't have to train harder, you just have to train smarter." Yep, that is definitely getting hung up in my room, joining the other great quotes. Thanks :)

  • Very good information Vic, I've been subscribed for quite a while now and really enjoy employeeing your techniques. Thank you for all the help.

  • Once again thanks for another great vid & advice

  • @scandleC

You are most welcome- thanks for watching- you'll see some more this week. Peace, Vic

  • it looks like you have a baseball where your bicep should be! awesome advice, vic!

  • @shummyshum

Thanks for the props- Try the peak technique and let me know what you think. Vic

  • Thanks Vic...just out of ignorance and curiosity...How did you come up with 12 Sets to do? Why not 3...or 5...or 7...or 10....etc...Why 12? How did you decide on 12? Serious question. Thanks

  • @jarden69

4 sets 3 exercises- or 2 exercises 5 to 6 sets- maybe a warm up or two - not really to be counted. Peace, Vic

  • Terrific advice. Thanks for a great video. How do you feel about super-setting bicep with tricep exercises? Thanks again, Vic.

  • @TPBass1224

I really never did it. I do remember one of my buddies doing it frequently I won't mention his name- but he was an excellent bodybuilder. He won Mr. America in the day. He was very knowledgeable and I am certain he did this. Now, I don't recall him doing it every time. In other words, I think it was one out of 4 times etc.. Furthermore, he was in show mode. So, I wouldn't say it was his usual course either. My concern is that if you toast out your arms, it may throw off your week

  • Thank you! After 15 years of gym. Im seeing amazing results using the key techniques you mention! Guys the key is to listen to how he performs the exercise! Otherwise you will certainly mis the secrets!

  • Thank you for awesome advice, you are worth subscribing.

  • doesnt your ring get scratched if you lift weights with it on? regardless some good advice there!

  • @Hoontae

Ring gets scratched - but it is small and doesn't interfere with my grip.

It isn't something I think about. Some guys wear bigger rings so - probably a good idea to remove. I think it's cool- anyway- says a bit about what you do- not afraid to get your hands dirty. However, if it means a lot to your wife- respect, etc... I would say remove it. Peace Vic

  • @vicsnatural thx for the video. How do I find my muscle/body imbalances??

  • @norma1250

Normally you don't have to look for imbalances- the imbalances find you- meaning by training and experimenting they reveal themselves. When they do- don't ignore them . Vic

  • Thanks Vic for the great video and advice

  • Excellent Advice!

Vic, on that one day of Bicep work, how many TOTAL SETS do you do, and how many reps per set? Do you also work your back on that day?

  • @jarden69

I would say 12 total sets of biceps

Yes I try to do it on back day. However, I put so much into my workouts, I am sometimes too tired to do another body part. Therefore, I try to do it the following day with abs and calves. That is a nice day actually- back and biceps, although I advocate is challenging depending on the day and how much gas I have in the tank. Peace, Vic

  • the best way to get stronger and bigger is a proper diet, that's absolutely obvious but besides that you need to focus on basic exercises which includes groups of muscles like squats, dead lifts and pull ups, that's for beginners to give them relevant basics and strenght. I think this is the best way for people who haven't work out before for solid base and after that we can talk about split programs etc Full body workout all the way

  • your veins kinda creep me out but your biceps look great

  • I did this workout and it worked! same weight Vic had and slow and steady-very focused and in control and by the 6 rep my biceps were burning. What a workout. Thanks Vic!

  • Nice video.

You look like a "well groomed" version of Pau Gasol. lol

  • Hey Vic you strike me as an illuminated master of bodybuilding, emanating peace and wisdom. Good video bro

  • damn nice arms!
