I hope Canada adopts this standard. We rejected the U.S. HD radio system.

@marc1178 That is interesting, normally Canada seems to follow suit with the US in choosing standards for radio and TV broadcasting but this is good because some US accepted standards tend to be bad. I do understand that Eureka DAB in the L band failed but unless there is a hybrid mode available with DRM+ then it could cause problems and result in people loosing reception of radio stations they liked to listen to.
