I think that some teens are great at balancing work and school. I was not and I did quit my job due to stress. I would get panic attacks and cry after I was done school and work. I'm not a social-able person either so that didn't help. I began to volunteer in the summer so I could get use to being around the public and I'll take my time before I decide if I want a job again.
Great tips! I just quit my job today because of the overwhelming amount of homework grade 12s get during the year. And it's true about how we have our whole life to work after school ends, so as to not let your job affect your school marks much.

teens should get jobs...it gets them into the "real world" and not the "surreal" world of high school and college
