don't worry you'll pass the written...i read through the book and passed it the first time. I'm not taking the MSF course until the summer though and that's when I'll be buying a motorcycle. Can't ride it now anyway...snow! lol
I like the look of that bike, but, as i said to you before you have totally turned me on to sport bikes now. Actually, i have been looking at some BMW's and i have fallen in love with the BMW F800ST (Sport Touring) It's basically a lighter, lower version of the bike Ewan McGreggor rode round the world. It's not cheap at 6,000GBP. But i would love one of those. Im going to be taking some walk rounds and ill try to take my camera and see what i can learn.
only a week wait from when you buy your motorcycle till when you can ride it? Pfft, that's nothing! I had to wait 2 months before I could ride mine! It sat in the garage all that time :(
You had to wait 2 months? wow, i bet it drove you crazy......or not as the case was.
But at least you got to go out and polish it and listen to the engine and admire it though. I will have to wait at least 6 months before i can even think about buying my first bike. Ive waited ages, i still havent got my license, but why rush when i cant get a bike.
i took a honda shadow spirit 1100 for a 300mile (non-stop except two times to refuel) ride...it was probably the most comfortable and enjoyable ride i've ever taken!
I actually failed the DMV test the first time I took it. A lot of people in OK do or the ones I've talked to. My motorcycle booklet had test questions in it, but NONE of them were on the test. The booklet questions were just common sense stuff and I was thinking I'll ace this bitch!.
The actual test was ridiculous. It was like ... "if your motorcycle is traveling at 30 mph and a raccoon goes in front of you, How many trash cans did the raccoon raid. Maybe not that bad, but it was lame!
Yeah i agree with ELETESOLDIER7, that would be good, to see all that happens on the riding course. When i start doing mine i could make some vids to compare how its done in UK.
dude 100 bucks, in ohio its 25 ha!

I hope so. I decided to wait to take the MSF right before I get the bike also. But I am waiting to take the written part till I take the MSF.

In Alabama you don't have to take a riding portion of the test, but they recommend taking the MSF course.

it's a really powerful bike. not for beginners. But maybe if one was really careful.

in my last video I explained why I chose to go with a sportbike. its just a better fit for me. I am still going to post some more cruiser vids tho.

That would drive me crazy. I think I am going to ask them to keep it in the shop until I can drive it home.

ya, I'm pretty patient. In the long term aspect of it, 6 months is not long at all. Before you know it 6 months will be gone!
I still can't believe it's 2009!

Nice Video.
If it wouldnt be too much trouble for you could you possibly make a video after each day of the class explaining what you guys went over and did?
I plan on taking the msf course in April.
So it would really help me out.
Good luck with the course man.
