I wanted to know, how long was the process to actually get the surgery done. Did you have to attend a seminar or something on LapBand surgery...and then begin the process of evaluation/insurance coverage? If so, can you walk me through it? I am highly, HIGHLY considering doing the surgery...

Thanks EVERYBODY for you kind words and support. I really appreciate all your encouragement. To answer NorthernSutherners question, my hardest thing to handle is portion sizes. I can eat much more than what i should be eating. So I may need to have my pouch checked to see if it has stretched.
