It's just a fact that two accounts in Eve are hugely useful, more so than any other mmo I can think of. So its common to consider using them at the same time to still be "solo".

There are a few tags that allow you to enter special rooms within missions that normally have a good item drop. In this case they are used like key cards to gain access using a warp gate at the last room.

not a complete solo but you did well. thats well done. i did a level 4 along time ago solo with a support ship but back then had no way to document it. and with T1 shiields Was abit scary. BUt the ISK oh wow so cool back then when some of the ships or most were the nightmares. Dual-boxing and solo are NOT the same thing. To consider a missions SOLO'D, means that he did it alone with ONE ship, which is clearly not the case. I've never met anyone in Eve that consider dual-boxing and soloing the same thing. It does matter if he is running both, solo means ONE PILOT, and in this case, there are TWO pilots, regardless of who is on the keyboard. You have to think in terms of in-game, not real world. In game, those rats saw two pilots, not a solo one.

Yea, the text was hard to read. I had to pause it whenever something came up. He's flying a Gallente Marauder, the Kronos.

As for fit, if I had to guess, I'd say he's using four 425MM Railguns, two tractor beams and a salvager for the highs. In the mids, he's got a Sensor Booster and a Webber and two tracking computers.

I'd hazard a guess that the two active hardeners are EM and Explosive, since he is fighting the Minmatar. As for what he's got in the other 5 lows and the rigs, no idea.

I run lvl5s with Archon np.

I usually blitz them for LP, under 30min by killing mission objectives only. Note that acceleration gates prohibit you to warp with a capital ship, so you have to be picky about accepting them. It also takes a friend or alt char. to cyno you into designated system.

Only way to solo is with a carrier or on specific kin/thermal damage missions only in a shield tanked passive ishtur orbiting a can. There is no other way. He labels it as a solo because in his mind its one player. Everyone who comes looking for videos wants one ship. Ignoring the controversy its actually an informative video.

I agree, not solo, instead, dual boxing. However, he was using a logistics fit Domi for remote armor rep, which was working pretty well. He was also flying a Kronos, which is the Gallente Marauder, which only has 4 turret slots, but gets a 100% weapon damage Role bonus. Thus, making 4 guns hit as hard as 8 on any other ship. So your "ou had no armor rep or enough guns" isn't really valid.

Soloing is in my opinion only possible in a passive recharge shield tank with high resists (Drake, NH, passive Tengu, shield tanked Ishtar). There are a few missions without neut though which could work in a normal mission runner ship too.
