The tax person told this woman that the government is NOT adjusting the Tax Rate. This is NOT a Tax Cut but it is a Tax Credit. The reason tax cuts are getting a cool reception is because they don't get the most "bank for the back". Last year's tax cuts were mostly saved in banks. In usual times, this would be fine because banks would use those deposits to fund other investment oppurtunuties. But now placing money into banks is the equivalent of stuffing it under a mattress.

What was needed was more spending. But I feel like Obama is trying to be bi-partisan to a fault and this tax cut is a bone to the Republicans.

The problem is both the Demo's and the Reps backed the banks by endorsing these shady mortgage practices so it really not correct in blaming one person.
