I have a Lloyds R858 here, 6 or 7 years now i've owned it, nice sound to it. only invested $40 in it since i've owned it. I'd like to know more info on my R858 model if someone can help me
I inherited a Lloyd's stereo in mint condition from my great- great uncle after he passed away. His wife won it at a bingo game in the early 70's- I use it every day! It has a 3- speed turntable on top, an 8- track and AM/FM tuner. It works perfectly

haha no you don't... Lloyd's is a REALLY crappy brand name; i used to have a Lloyd's stereo, and I spent more time fixing it than i did actually listening to it. Candle is a bad brand name too.
I do have a similar masterwork receiver but it has no 8 track on it though. It does get the speakers going though.. It put out more sound than my moms cheap JVC 1000 watt PMPO stereo..
I have some neat Panasonic stereos. A nice 8-track-record-radio, can record 8-tracks. Also a neat 1960s cassette-radio stereo that sits upright and is very odd. Also a Panasonic reel-to-reel-radio stereo with MOTORIZED radio tuning!!
lloyds made some awesome stuff, I had a few pieces of their gear in the early and mid eighties.

The one in the vid seems to work OK though.

you got a defective LLoyds.
