@AllThingsRasta I don't know anyone that has hair as soft as mine. I would also say that it's fairly fine, so if i could manage to get my hair locked up i feel anyone can. Also, i did'nt pay too much attention on matching hair texture of extentions with my texture. It's not necessary.
@KingbristerisGay crochet hook some of them a little in the front and top but the back i kinda let go. you don't need to do anything for new growth it should eventually loc up but i want a more clean look
ur dreads look great, like near perfect. how did u get them so tight near the base. mine are only a few days old i can't wait till there old. but just give me tips and what not please
@YourDrMario7 I started them in march and at first my dread length was like 6 inches all around for the most part and then 2 months later i bought real human hair extensions. i crochet them alot at the base and like to keep them very clean looking, although lately i've been slacking. i feel the first few months that i crochet a little too much and damaged some hair so im slowly not doing it as much.
@5ubZ3r0o yea mine r only 2 weeks old, but i just got some locking spray that speeds up the process of how fast they lock up. yea mine r only like 6 inches now, and some r short on top cuz my hair was short so there rlly short which sucks. but i'm gonna post videos every month. so yea
I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my hair, but was it difficult getting your extensions into your short hair?

@Antlerdseer no not at all. you could do it with dreads as small as 3 inches probably
