@MrCuteNFuzzy If you're playing on rookie all you need to do is use the X, Square, or Circle (normal, power, or contact swings) buttons to swing the bat. But on the other difficulties you still use the left analog stick to move the contact chance circle throughout the strike zone in accordance with the movement of the ball. So if the pitch is going low and away you need to put the contact circle to the bottom lower right/left hand part of the strike zone (depending on R or L handed batter).
@mysuper64 It's a High-Definition Personal Video Recorder. The PVR that I own is made by a company called Hauppauge. It allows me to record not only gameplay but anything else I want to that plays (as it's currently hooked up) from my PS3/Xbox 360 to my computer.
lincecum in this game is unrealistic because he only throws like 2 curves a game really. it's not a very used pitch by him. it's all fastball change up
Woah. When you hit line drives they are bullets compared to mine. Mine are slow. Do i have to raise my Power Hitting stat for that? And what are you Contact and Power #s vs LHP & RHP? Im in AAA (Astros) already. Its my first season.
@Discovery978 My power stats and contact stats are in the mid to high 70s. When I wasn't putting points into my achievements I was putting them all into my contact and power. With any game now a lot has to do with realism. Lincecum throws in the mid to high 90s so all one has to do is square up the ball and it'll fly.
Timing is also a big part of this game. If you're out front of a pitch you're going to hit the ball weakly. So maybe it's a matter of timing.
never seen a homerun cam to center

@penguinmaster1001 Yeah it's kind of rare (at least for me). But I was super stoked to hit one off of Lincecum.

@TheBaseballsuperfan I know what you mean. Heath Bell has a nasty curveball but they didn't really give it to him in this game.
