They make electric golf carts. That's why the PUMA is pointless. Why reinvent the electric golf cart with only two wheels cramped seating and no storage room? There are videos here on youtube of a guy who tweaked an electric golf cart to get a lot of speed and range out of it. That is far more practical than this stupid thing. I understand GM is trying something new but this is a waste of time and money whoever okayed this project should be fired and is partly responsible for GM's demise.

BUT, if everyone went on golf carts, what kinda help would that be to the environment? The objective is to save the environment, or rather the company is targeting the rapidly growing environmentalists who are looking for environmental friendly cars. Hybrids are fine, but the government is slowing down the production of top of the model, fuel efficient monsters. If we had cheap, fuel / alternate fuel efficient cars, then maybe the PUMA would be considered a joke.

the GM / Segway project is a joke, absolutely NO crash protection, any side impact would likely cause a broken neck from the side bar , no air bags, no windshield wiper, no side or rear curtains for rain protection, no heater, etc. Oh, but it has accident avoidance radar, does that keep another vehicle from hitting YOU? I don't think anyone's gonna buy the puma. They were meant to be replacements for cars in the first place, but people will use them to drive 2 blocks away instead of walk. That will create even more congestion on traffic lights. I think a 50cc moped is a way more practical solution for whatever GM and segway had in mind.

A3 isn't really for me, I actually prefer the styling of the Golf.

I like the new B8 Audi S4, it's got new differential and handles like EVO while being perfectly refined and comfortable.

But look at it this way. Porsche 911 turbo is slower around a track than the Nissan GT-R which makes Porsche hopeless, especially when the sister companies are making cars that can beat the GT-R - Gallardo Superleggera and LP-560 and Audi R8 v10.

I'll be sure to check out tomorrow's FLD. But as of today's one, the PUMA looks and seems pretty cool. I'm reminded of concepts like the Toyota PM (Personal Movement) concept years back. I'm not really into Maseratis, but that GT4 Maserati looks sweet. Not crazy over Fisker either, but that's good Fisker will be financially afloat. That executive-type luxury Bugatti deal looks pretty horrid. Those other Bugatti concepts look great. Almost like they're ready for Le Mans. Cool show!
