That looks like so much FUN!!! I'd love to have a go at this. We Yanks haven't really gotten a lot of exposure to this (we could probably count the number of circular rings here on two hands!), and I think it's a beautiful thing that we should see more of. I belong to a tiny Anglican church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (the US equivalent of the C of E) and that mini-ring would be fun to have in our bell tower in lieu of the big brass train bell that's there now, and would be much prettier.
Hi, I remember the mini bell ring being at the summer fete I should have had a go. Do you have anymmore clips of Holy Trinity Milton Regis? If so would love to see them.
Thers nothing to brake, theres no steys or sliders, unlike bells hung in towers, so the worse that can happen is that you let go of the rope, and goes right round the wheel. All you would have to do is thread it back through.
i can't tell for the double striking. The ringer of the tenor lets it go so far over the balance at each stroke, it keeps clappering randomly. lol. = )
Why can't the Suffolk Guild one sound nice like this?

The bells strike so slowly that it looks like the tenor is on the wrong stroke, that is acctually the treble!!!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
It appears the tenor is up wrong, and the ringer is on the wrong stroke. Sh*tter!

does that have anything to do with the fact that the tenor is swinging abnormally slowly?
