After Goku died, 17 had no reason to go on living his distructive lifestyle and basically lived peacefully throughout the Buu saga. I wish they would not have cut this out in the Funimation version.

They do turn back, and there is nothing in DBZ that implies that they were still Cyborgs after they were resurrected from the dead. Recall that 17 was just shown walking the woods with a rifle, not doing anything that suggested he was any different from the average human being... 18 didn't die until Super Buu came about, so she had the power that her cybernetic attachments gave her a lot longer than 17. But after she died, she too was never shown doing anything extra-ordinary in DBZ.
And Gero did not "recreate them as androids"... Gero merely added to their already Human bodies Cybernetic attachments throughout their bodies including their brains... Dr. Gero did not remove anything from their Human bodies, he only added onto them... Android 20 (Dr. Gero) on the other hand had his whole Brain removed from his human body and inserted into than of a TRUE android body... 17 and 18 are Organic with cybernetic attachments where as Gero is almost fully machine...
Thus in turn, Dr. Gero himself is not actually a Cyborg, but instead a "brain in a robot"...
Frieza is a TRUE Cyborg when he was made Mecha-Frieza by King Cold's engineers... In Hell, Frieza was no longer a Cyborg anymore... And you claim it was "filler" but please note that Dr. Gero appeared in that same scene, so that part was just as filler as Gero in Hell...

Dr. Gero never came back in DBZ, that was DBGT which is what I'm arguing against in the first place... That DBGT breaks DBZ logic in every way...

@SamuelJoaodaSuica The androids dont turn back into humans dude. Sure they were born human, but Gero recreated them as androids. Ok look at this. Frieza was born organic alien. He died as a cyborg. His FILLER shown him organic again. Explain Gero in DBZ. He was born human. He made himself an android. His FILLER showed him as an android in hell watching Goku fight Majin Buu. What your referring to relates to the filler which is non canon. And if dbgt was a manga it wasnt akira toriyama based.

They do turn back, and there is nothing in DBZ that implies that they were still Cyborgs after they were resurrected from the dead. Recall that 17 was just shown walking the woods with a rifle, not doing anything that suggested he was any different from the average human being... 18 didn't die until Super Buu came about, so she had the power that her cybernetic attachments gave her a lot longer than 17. But after she died, she too was never shown doing anything extra-ordinary in DBZ.

And Gero did not "recreate them as androids"... Gero merely added to their already Human bodies Cybernetic attachments throughout their bodies including their brains... Dr. Gero did not remove anything from their Human bodies, he only added onto them... Android 20 (Dr. Gero) on the other hand had his whole Brain removed from his human body and inserted into than of a TRUE android body... 17 and 18 are Organic with cybernetic attachments where as Gero is almost fully machine...

Frieza is a TRUE Cyborg when he was made Mecha-Frieza by King Cold's engineers... In Hell, Frieza was no longer a Cyborg anymore... And you claim it was "filler" but please note that Dr. Gero appeared in that same scene, so that part was just as filler as Gero in Hell...
17 and 18 are Humans with Cybernetic enhancements... Like Frieza, they loose them after they die... Simple as that...

As soon as people in dbz die, they turn into spiritual clouds, unless they have done something extravagant to keep their bodies such as Goku did. And yes you are right, I forgot that he built Android 19 to operate on his body to transport his brain into an android. And yes Gero did add on to 17 and 18.

Exactly... So if 17 and 18 are clouds and have lost their bodies, it wouldn't make any sense for them to be resurrected again as Cyborgs since their cybernetic attachments are not a part of their "being".

@SamuelJoaodaSuica shenron outright said he cannot ressurect someone as something they arent. so yes the cyber parts are part of the body that shenron recreates for them. vegeta was given a new body by shenron after being resurrected but its not a true body. its just a body recreated to be what vegeta's body used to be. he blew himself up so no way will he have his true body.

@SamuelJoaodaSuica no it doesnt. remember the dragon was upgraded in cell and buu arcs so maybe it is able to recreate cyborg body parts. then again did original 17 do anything extraordinary? yes he beat up trunks but gero said he was "overflowing with the power of hell" back then. so yeah 17 and 18 were most likely human again but retained their ability to use ki.
