I red somewhere on the net that Kaapana slackened his A string to G.
After I came across Ledward Kaapana a year or so ago, he's become one of my absolute favorites. The man has such feeling ... I've bought whatever I have come across from that man.

He makes that thing sing! Too many solo uke players don't know how to fill out the melody. Led does it all.
This whole Pakele Live set is wonderfully mellow.
