  • @ABCdeeeefgee seriously? If u would know anything about drums then u would know that it can be played upside down so u don't ruin the rim of the China and so it doesn't chew at your sticks. Plus it sounds better. I'm getting one of these!

  • These have no sound hardly.

  • i got one of these - sounds ALOT better in person. much better than what videos on youtube made me think it would sound like. love it ^^

  • I want a diamond

  • thats not 18

  • wuhan chinas are the best espcialy the new ones

  • saluda > wuhan

  • when did they change the company's name?

  • go to the store to buy wuhans, they are pro level, but only half of them. pros use them but cause their from china they mostly sound different.. most drum stores will have a few of them. test them and pick wich one you want.

  • ATTENTION!! I understand that these Wuhan Cymbals sound quite good and are cheap, but will they take a beating? are they durable?? Please reply, thankyou :)

    \m/

  • @jarradooo No, they will not. For heavy metal anyways.

  • @jarradooo they are not that thick so dont beat the shit out of it or not you will break it, but it does sound awesome

  • @jarradooo theyre all right, but if you break one? who gives a shit haha, theyre like 30 dollars

  • I personally like my china bell up. The stick response from hitting the ridge is wierd to me, I like hitting it on the side. Although I have it bell down, but flat at the moment. Just because it looks better. And it will help me crack it, which I desperately want to do, only because I have an unlimited number of free replacements for two years ^_^

  • I never knew you could hit the china from either side.. herp derp. I need to buy one of these soon, I love the way *certain* ones sound. Not necessarily this one :P

  • sounds liek shit

  • @xxDomxx sounds great compared to the pitch black zildjian china

  • its true...but could you make a video with it face up? bc thats how most people (including me) play it

  • rofl it's going to crack either way guys don't have a hissy fit and if it does so be it it's his china not yours.

  • Your gonna crack that cymbal flip it upside down! Just sayin

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahah!

  • RULE 14 NIGGERS! suck it !!!!!!!!!!

  • @rovusss whats wrong with u?

  • @thecravenator42069 oh, the irony .. .

  • SERIOUSLY THOUGH, WHO THE FUCK USES A CHINA THE RIGHT WAY UP?

  • @rovusss i do asshole !

  • eh this sounds ok. i bet if they had rivets in it it would be better

  • Chinas wer origianally rides used by jazz guys pointed bell up, then they wer inverted by metal guys so their sticks wouldnt get wrecked, there is no right way to play a china

  • Lol this is what the china that i made sounds like... except i failed lol... Maybe i didn't

  • why doesnt it sound Trashy and Crispy?!?

  • This is a China Cymbal that actually come from China, Zildjians are turkish

  • Armenian actually

  • @wrxstiawd yeah turkish cymbals, but made in the USA :P

  • Comment removed

  • I like the zildjain oriental trash

  • no china compairs to the zildjian k in my opinion.

  • in my opinion it sounds better when flipped.

  • that sounds good as how much was it?

  • It sucks !

  • RA710 is right.

at :05, thats the UP side, but if you flip it it makes the cymbal and your sticks last longer :)

  • and I think sound better to

  • Kinda rings out for awhile

  • its upside down dude... flip it.

  • dude you watch the whole video?!?! *bitch slap*

  • you obviously cant drum

  • you can't say he cannot drum. You haven't heard him. It's a demo of a cymbal. Travis barker og chester thompson could do a demo of a cymbal, so you don't think they can drum? Don't get it folks. Respect! All you do is to tell others what's the right way. I bet your not a shit better than him!

  • anyone can tell that this poor looser cannot drum, just because of the way that he hits the CHINA . . .

  • well..judging from this comment and your comment on the boston vid, you have no idea about china cymbals. the boston guy placed and hit the cymbal fine and so did i.

  • you use a china however you want. it was originally used with the bell up as a alternative to a ride and was flipped over so when used for heavier playing styles it doesnt break sticks. and you obviously have never noticed i play it both ways in this.

  • i actually did notice but was more generally speaking about the boston video where he apparently did not know that everyone today actually cares about the harder sound of the china (bell-down) . . . and if they want to sell that they should actually post a video that people find useful.

  • china cymbals techincally delivers a bad sound, it's like distortion .. you trashify the sound, i'd recommend not playing swing / jazz which you play on a fine K-ride (ex) on a china, just sounds wrong :S

  • He's right.

It was originally used bell up, and as people came to crash it more, they flipped it so their sticks wouldn't get eatten up but the edge.

  • @rovusss Morge is right, you can play it hanging from your di©k with the bell pointing out or in it doesn't matter.

  • @rovusss

You're an idiot, get the fuck out.

  • @rovusss LOL you're fucking retarded

  • you can hit a china on either side dumfuks.

  • holy fuk, finally someone who says it how it is.

    Thanks bro.

  • @RA710 Oh I feel stupid now! LOL

  • eeeew.

  • I personally like the 16 and 20 inch.

  • i prefer the 14 inch

  • haha vic firth nova

    im sorry.

    i like wuhan

they suck but dont at the same time.

  • dude it doesnt matter, its on the sound i have a 14" i think it sounds baddass

it goes good w/ my oriental tho :)

  • Are you joking, Wuhan china's sound the best.

  • are you joking, Wuhans china's fail unless you are just picking up drumming

  • BrickWaluigi, I'm sorry to inform you that Neil Peart from Rush used Wuhan china's, so if you think Wuhan's are for beginners, you are truly wrong. Maybe you should do some research before making a decision like that and making a fool of yourself.

  • you can use whatever cymbals you want, im just saying i dont like the sound of wuhans. the beginner thing was based on price and ease of braking. zildjian and paiste are my kind of cymbal

  • i personally hate the sound of them

  • Everyone's got their own sound, of course. I just love that it's so trashy and mean sounding.

  • yeah i bet thats where the 19in paragon china came from

  • You china will sound exactly the same whether the bell is up or down. It's all just about prefrence.

  • well thats not true, actually when the china is hanging with the lip up it has more resonance, when the lip is down like most people play it, the neck has more contact with the felt and the sound is way more damp and muffled, just listen you can hear it....

  • they sound good both ways !!!!!

  • Well put xD

  • @ZildjianBassRocker Like a bi-Sexual

  • I dont usually get involved in stuff like this, but this time I couldnt help myself.. stubbs is right you guys.. there are no rules.. it depends on the player and the way he plays and what hes playing..

dont hate me just keep on rockin. lol

    TDM

  • nice i have a 18" with revelts from wuhan

  • Rivets* -.-

  • im getting this cant wait!!

  • yeah! that's the only one cymbals(i think it's the only but not sure) that can be used upside down or the right side!

  • argh meee cup chime ting

  • Cymbals don't have to be right side up "retards". You can have it however you want. Who the fuck says there are rules on how to use a cymbal.

  • For China it kinda has to idiot...

Drummer like me myself, usually most of us have our China upside down so we damage the China less and the drum stick less. Win win situation.

  • You are a fucking dumbass.

  • LOL your a fucking dumbass.

Seriously, don't bitch about it because your wrong.

I mean, you wouldn't be the dumbass if you want to have your china sound like shit and destroy it and your stick completely in prob a month, then be my guest. Be the smart one in your own way.

  • Or use a hi-hat and turn it upside down.

It actuly sounds pretty nice :P

on my video PST3 cymbal test or whatever its called i use it. Sorry its a shit video but my DIY china aint half bad :p

xxx I break too many sticks. but not on my hi-china ;P

my snare always kills my sticks

  • Dude; I'm not going to insult you ... but if you're breaking sticks with your china turned with the bell up ... You're doing something wrong. You don't have to beat the shit out of a china for sound. When it's bell up ... the sound GOES up.

    Just saying. And keep drumming.

  • Lol... Because you mainly hit the bow of a china. And the bow points up. If your having your china facing up, you're doing something wrong.

  • It doesn't really matter. Just how long you want your sticks to be intact or what sound your going for.

  • uh hey retard

i think ur fucking cymbal is kinda upside down retard

  • Lol...

  • no shit sherlock...

  • haha wow ryan miller

  • Just bought 16" Stagg Traditional china and it is absolutely awesome! 45 quid and holy shit!! Play it to someone and don't say it's a Stagg!! Like mcd's "i'm lovin it" Silly Cheap!! 18" next!!! Recommend!!

  • ITS UPSIDE DOWN!

  • It's both ways :)

  • They do say hand made by Wuhan on the cymbal! Is that not the case?? I'd like to know as i fancy one!!

  • Comment removed

  • Hey.

On these cymbals it says "hand made in Wuhan". From what I understand, Wuhan makes chinas and sells them unbranded to other companies (diamond and maybe stagg) who then brand them. Also, the writting on the cymbal is in the same font as Wuhan cymbals.

  • dude... diamond cymbals, are not affiliated by Wuhan, at all.

  • yes they are..

  • still even if, it says Wuhan china. and this is a Diamond.

  • arnt chinas suppposed to be the other way around? isnt that "upside down"

  • China's can go both ways. Jazz players play them with the label facing up as a trashy alternative to a ride, where as rock players play it with the label down so the sticks dont break when they hit the edge.

  • :))) What was the point of that

  • to give an example of the sound of the cymbal, and to show if its got any undertones n shit. it wasnt a pointless video if thats what your thinking.
