I am 47 years now. Lots of reminiscences about new order and the records for me too. They were my secret passion in the 80's at a time when me and my friends were listening to hardcore, including Crass and Black Flag etc. But hey, I am still listening to New Order but not any hardcore. This song reminds me of why postpunk owned: It was art-rock that owned the underground and sometimes worked its way up from dorm room boomboxes and clubs onto the radio or into soundtracks or whatever. Oh, I *love* this. Even better than Blue Monday (mainly because I've heard Blue Monday a bit too much). Love the slow and leisurely start seguing into the running finish. Love the feeling of running for a long time. Very nice atmosphere.

This album could actually be considered "Blue Monday: Theme and Variations." Blue Monday, 5 8 6, Ecstasy and The Beach. All fitting together.
