  • PUPPY!!!

  • You have a rather round face. And this make up could have turned out beautiful. But since you made the eyes hughe to the outside and the nose SO big, your face looks really round and - sorry - fat. I don't like it at all. I was really wondering when I saw you without make up. You're acutally really beautiful but this make up isn't for you! (at least THAT way)

  • this is probably one of the best looks in the history of best looks

  • Thank you for this tutorial! I went to a Dia de los Muertos celebration tonight, and I used your tutorial to help me get ready. I had quite a few compliments, and I think I had the best face paint there. I had trouble with some of the forehead designs, but that is because I did not have a good paintbrush. Anyway, thanks again for helping me! You gave great instructions.

  • awesome but your cuuuute doggy was distracting me ahaha

  • BRAVO

  • Very Sylvia Ji-ish, I like (:

  • OMG! You have a very steady hand and lots of patience! I could never do this! It's rather beautiful though. ;o)

  • first of all let me say ur tutorial is amazing!!! my face tends to get oily !i dont have any white eyeshadow... do u think i should use powder ?or should i use white paint?or any thing u can recommend me would be very helpful....thanx!

  • Do you mean for the white parts of the face, or to set it after you're completely done?

  • Beautiful hun

  • thank you so much! you helped out alot!

  • YOU DID A GREAT JOB!!

  • is lovely, but the sugar skull isn't the same that Dia de muertos, is a traditional candy. You must investigate more about the sugar skull

  • Sugar skulls are only made for the celebration of Día de Muertos and are called "calaveritas" , they represent the deceased on the "altar de muertos", when custome purchased they can have the names of loved ones that have passed away or yourself, so... I think she states very clearly that she took elements of sugar skulls and Día de Muertos so she's never stating that they're the same. Try to remember she's a makeup guru not a foreign celebrations facts one.

  • LOL

  • WOW. this was a surprise. very creative, you should do more!

  • oh yes i love you, this was my costume for last year! except my face makeup was not as good, I am not that talented and i did it at the very last minute. I remember seeing some of Sylvia Ji's painting, and I tried to recreate that look but I suck. and since I am Mexican, I can tell you that you aced this look

  • omg how long did that take to take off!??

good job though. you are very talented

  • thats amazing ! and so creative too ! i cant wait to see what else you come up with =]

  • You did a wonderful job on that. I am really impressed with how easily you drew details. Are you an artist? I bet you draw and paint on canvas really well!

  • beautiful absolutely stunning! I love it

  • wow this is really cool!! very detailed and extravagant.....

  • WOW AMAZING! but i bet it was a pain in the ass to was all this off lol.

  • I was expecting a nightmare, but really it wasn't that bad.

  • ooh flashy new intro :0) dang you went all out too, way to go! : ))

  • where did u find that halloween paint wheel ??????????????i think u can use it as eyeshadow base

  • I suppose it could maybe be used as an eyeshadow base, but it really is quite greasy. If you take a good look at the black parts on my eyes it's shining even after applying powder. I did use more than you would for eyeshadow base though. I found it at a local costume/novelty store. I know you can order Ben Nye online though if you can't find it locally.

  • ooh ok thank you very much for answer me !!!!!!!!! xoxo

  • Wow, very elaborate look! You must be really into Halloween! =D

  • OMIG you scared me when the vid opened!! LOL!!

    Very cute and scary!!

BTW, do you know that you look like you could be Emile Hirsch's twin sister? :)

  • whoa this is awesome!

  • thanks ;)

  • That came out really really good. I made a skull Dia De Los Muertos pinata from scratch once. Using tons of colors always makes the look pop so well.

  • How fun! Did you keep it or actually use it and beat it all up? lols

  • We had to beat it for the candy ;( but it was fun to make and beat up ha!

  • This is really creative!
