I agree with all the other comments.... Idina IS Elphaba. Duh. Not just because she was the original. She is just heartbreaking in this role and so vulnerable. I was so, SO fortunate to be able to see her in London. A peak moment in my life. Unreal to think back on it. Her performance of this song made me cry. And her ultimate triumph as Elphaba is so powerful. I also totally agree -- she is stunning in green. I don't think it is a look that's so easy to pull off!

Yes. I think it's supposed to be the same evening after Elphaba and Fiyero have just saved the lion together. (when their "Hands touch ... " and that spark of chemistry between them begins.)

Fiyero is on the bridge and looks down towards Elphie, who he is now beginning to realize he is more interested in than the poor, shallow Galinda. (still very shallow at this point in the show, anyway)

i love idina in the soft numbers like this one .i love eden ,but she is way to aggressive in this song,i love her ,Her acting is amazing .i agree that there were better vocal singers as elphaba ,But nobody acts that good .I would rather have a full package like her than a performer with an amazing voice but cant act like kerry .I love kerrys voice ,but she is an boring actress .
