At 2:27 the video shows the skid marks. Apparently, he got distracted, the truck drifted left, and before he could correct his direction he had to slam on the brakes. He skidded into the ditch at an angle, making his front left end duck, tipping the vehicle.

seatbelts suck I never wear one. Been in a few nasty accidents also. I know someone who was in a accident female driver wearing a seatbelt was trapped in car in coma for 5 months than died. Passenger male no seatbelt flew out car hit fencepost broke every rib home the next day. Also this happened in 1997 or 98 the first year we had a seat belt law.

seatbelts were made to make people safe. u might be ok for some smaller accidents but why take that risk. All it does is restrict ur movement a tiny bit, not much seein as how it could save your life. the woman would probably have died regardless, but who knows.

ill take the chance of wearing a belt. by law u are spose to wear one but i think it should be your own choice. if you think that wearing a seat belt will stop you from flying out your front window or gettin thrown into the back seat then you wear one like me. if you think not wearing one will stop you from loosing limbs more power to you. ill take that slim chance.

There are specially designed knives for cutting through seat belts in bad crashes. Benchmade makes three that I know of. If you get thrown out of and then pinned under your vehicle, you're pretty much done for.

Selt belts..touchy issue. Sure they save lives most of the time..some times they don't. My friend's mom got her head cut off by a seat belt..so,I'm kind of iffy on the whole seat belt,air bag issue.
