Me as an Quarter Midget driver i know what it is like to be in a crash and i know how much it hurts to hit a wall hard and then get hit even harder from behind let me tell you it hurts like bad HELL! so Dale i fell the pain that you went through that day in turn three and just remember that we will all see you again one day. intimidater you will never be forgotten you have your own special place in all of are hearts and know that you where loved and you where hated but you where respected ;"(.
If only Dale could come back for a few days, i would never ask for anything again, RIP Dale, cant get more american than Dale, Best driver ever, great person, hardworking and a loving father carrying on the racing family tradition
I may be young but Earnhardt was my hero and after the race today... I don't know how to explain it. The World has lost the greatest hero of all time. May Dale Earnhardt Sr Rest In Peace.
I have watched the footage a million time and it hurts to see the wreck. Even when I know when it going to happen the tears come and can't be stopped and I am 39 year old man.
god bless America.God bless NASCAR.and God bless the Earnhardt's with their loss of a father, brother, driver, car owner, husband, son,a great role model for NASCAR.May God keep Dale Sr. safe.
The Tragedy of Victory poor JR. won the race but lost his father (thats a terrible way to win a race and not celebrate it to the person who inspired him to race) :'(
Got CHILLS from head to toe on that one!!! Awesome video you did here..really like it alot and a freaking awesome song to go with it..Nice job!! I just did one to 3 Doors Down's new song "I Wont Go" with a few of my Jr and Sr renderings that ive hand drawn for Brad and the bands charity The Better Life Foundation..if you get a minute check it out and let me know what you think..was my first video to make so dont laugh to hard..lol...
Nice song choice to honor a legend in the business... We miss ya Dale... He brought so much to nascar and will be dearly missed.. God Bless Ya Dale...
a friend was there at the daytona race where he died and said it got so quiet there you could hear a pin drop no one left for hours after it was and still is a sad day in peoples memories my friend hasnt watched a nascar race since
Dale was truly and inspiration to us all and one hell of an American hero, not just a Nascar legend.Rest in peace Dale, I will always cherish seeing you on the track and knowing you were in our hearts. We will always love and remember your values as well as your racing.Hammer down in Heaven buddy. Love, Bridget Kilpatrick #3 forever!!!!
Dale died in Febuary of 2001. A good friend of mine died March 2001. She loved Dale so much. Now she is in heaven with him! I can see her chasing him! Miss you Diane!
Although I am a fan of Jeff Gordon,Bill Elliott,Dale Jarrett and many more,I was never a Dale Earnhardt fan.I am now a fan of his son.The fans want to see him drive the black number 3 car his father made famous.I think Richard Childress should sell the rights of the car to Dale Jr.But his father's legacy will live on.

i want to see some one you liked who died, yea then we'll pick on your fucking ass and see how you like it.oh yea get alife and go watch the gay indycar guys fight like 3 year lod little girls
Thanks for making this!! I went to my 1st Nascar race in Feb 81. Been a Sr fan ever since. I attended many races over the years, I pretty much gave up in 2001 but my wife eventually got me back to the races in 2004 for the daytona 500 and have been going ever since. But now with Jr in a Hendricks car, at the 50th I had no one to root for. I am sorry to say but Jr is not his dad, nor will he ever be. I have seen some dale in a couple of drivers but NASCAR has changed forever. Miss you #3
i forgot to say earlier, at Texas, in the infield going under the tunnel between 1 and 2,I named that Earnhardt hill. Dale, find my Dad in heaven and let him know im ok. as I can be.I support Jr with all my heart, but you will always be a big part of my life. Rest in peace. Bridget Kilpatrick
tear falls every feb 18 as the tears of DW did on sundays broadcast. NASCAR will NEVER BE THE SAME, as the last 7 years has proved that, R.I.P DALE,, "YOU DA MAN"
Even as a Gordon fan from the era of 1995-2001, I knew who the man really was. Losing Dale was like watching the core of NASCAR die out. I think that I found the reason why NASCAR is losing its core fans... it's not because the tv times are late or the chase, its because we don't have Dale Sr. anymore. If Dale was still here, NASCAR would be the best it has ever been today. I think the lord had to choose someone to join him, and personally he couldn't pick a better man...
If fans like U put this much effort N a tribute 4 Dale, tell me why people still slam Jeff Gordon til this day, Earnhardt Sr. even said the #24 is the future of Nascar. "One of the Best out there."
Agreed, I remember him saying that. He also said "Hes a good little racer, hes worked hard for what hes got. Hes going to be a good racer." I love Earnhardt and Gordon, and I miss all the fun they used to have together. I dont know why people still bash Gordon, Gordon has come far from the Rainbow Warrior gimmick days. Gordon has matured and he should not be slammed like that anymore.
He was the best! I was in the sixth grade when he died. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news. NASCAR just isn't the same without him. The legend will continue to live on! #3. The Best!!

shame on you!! Im a nascar fan and F1 fan, Dale Earnhardt and Ayrton Senna were both GREAT drivers i their own sport of racing. why knock either of them???
indyfan22k is just pissed because all of his little queer open wheel drivers are now trying to get into NASCAR now, and dumping that stupid IRL series. There has NEVER been an open wheel driver that had the ball Earnhardt had.
YAH THERE WAS!!! Senna, he did. I loved them both, well actually I loved Senna and didnt really know Dale Earnhardt till his last race now I love Dale Jr.
jamescaan66<<< that is the most sickest thing I think I have heard a human life say.. onelostteen plzs remove his comment. I sat here crying watching the video, and ended up pissed off!
This video is a great remeberance for Dale Earnhart Sr. I was a huge fan when he was alive on earth but he is still and always will be alive in my heart. Rest in Peace Dale Earnhart
That's why God invented the blacks, as slaves to drive so the rednecks don't have to. When they get behind behind the wheel drunk off their ass they crash!
Dale Earnhardt was a man that could be friends with anyone outside the track but one those engine started he was the intimidater doesnt matter if u hated him or loved him u respected the man he did things never seen before and did things we still cant belive thats why he was such a hero to many. (great video man it was one if nicest tributes iv seen of him) guess now earnhardt and hamilton are racing in heaven
the man the legend i cant believe hes gone some people say heros dont die well some heros do adn unfortunately thats what has happend to this hero and its dissapointing to know dale jr is going to hendrix
Dale Earnhardt was the best driver ever, and sad but true the crash just proves the danger of this sport, and the risk these drivers take every weekend. Nice video, thank you very much for sharing it every Dale Earnhardt fan will definitely appreciate you for it
I quit watching Nascar that day that my Hero died.. It was the greatest thing every Sunday to get home and watch the "Intimidator" Dale was by far the greatest driver to ever set foot on the peddal.. R.I.P. Dale!!
I may not have been his biggest fan, or possibly as loyal as u are, but i agree. i haven't watched since, but once, the day my dad started freakin out over a crash of another driver, dont even kno who, i just thought 'aw, hell a replay of dales' death, nascar nation can't take it'. its sad, not seeing him race ne more.
I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems to me like most drivers nowadays that have been racing for a long time seem to start to lose their touch. Dale had been racing for longer than most of them, and when he lost his life he was still every bit as competitive as he had always been, he was still in his prime and he died doing what he loved. The sport will never be the same without him. We'll miss you, Dale.
I am not a race fan, I do however believe Mr Earnhardt deserves his tribute just as other sportsmen who died doing what they loved, whatever sport. Why is it that race fans are deemed to be rednecks while football is considered to be the end all to sports? Sounds like Indyfan, has a little jealous, spitefulness, and meanness of the soul, why, I bet you that jesus rode along with Dale more then a few times on that speedway!
i mite of not seen him race before because i was born in 1997 but i saw a little on youtube and i went to his grave and i know he was the best driver in history but even if hes dead he will all ways be in our hearts r.i.p dale we will always love you and never forget about
i went to my first race on my fifth birthday at daytona 500 and i got to watch DALE EARNHARDT SR. win and when i was 2 i used to think he was my dad cause thier names sounded alike Dale Del and when he died i cried for hours when i was young before he died that was my dream to be just like that man he was my hero and still is today and i still want to be just like Dale Earnhardt Sr. I hope to meet him someday in heaven Rest In Peace Dale i hope to see you someday
ur crazy if u think gordon will be better than earnhardt or petty. gordon will start to slow down like everyone else when he gets old and they get more young guns in there. i tell u this much gordon will never, ever get 7 championships or 200 wins. if earnhardt raced back when petty did, he would have had more wins then he did. and he could sure kick gordons ass.
god bless you man , god bless you , you're right on everything you said jeff will never be able to get 7 championships or be as good as dale , thank you for your amazing comment .
fuck u. u have no chance to be as good as dale earnhardt. if all he could do is intimiadate people then how is it that he won a bristol race, one of the hardest if not the hardest race track without any power-stirring. and what sins did he commit. yea he maybe had a few beers and said some things he shouldnt but who are u to judge.
'DALE' to Make Its Television Debut on CMT in an Exclusive Limited Run...
ONLY AUTHORIZED FILM ON RACING LEGEND DALE EARNHARDT TO PREMIERE ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 AT 8 PM ON CMT.
DALE will encore at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5 and Thursday, Sept. 6, with those being the only additional scheduled airings of DALE on CMT prior to the film's release on DVD next year.
I remember this day it was the first time me and my son decided to watch the race. i dnt knw who dale sr was but it was a very sad moment in nascar history
2 horrible events happended in 2001. 1 is that Dale Earnhardt died, and 2 is the September 11, 2001 attacks by asshole terrorists from the Middle East. RIP Dale, you will be missed
if dale sr didnt crash jeff gordon would never be as good as he was....even though they were friends jeff knew who the best was ...rip dale you will never be forgotten
I cryed the day he died and I cryed today when I watched this. It doesnt seem that long ago....Jr. looks so young in those pictures. Beautiful pictures by the way and the song is perfect for this video.
it sucks that he was on the last lap on the last turn and died R.I.P

This video is a great remeberance for Dale Earnhart Sr. I was a huge fan when he was alive on earth but he is still and always will be alive in my heart. Rest in Peace Dale Earnhart

That's why God invented the blacks, as slaves to drive so the rednecks don't have to. When they get behind behind the wheel drunk off their ass they crash!

Dale, we love you and miss you dearly. That old school feel of NASCAR has just slowly gone away without you around and it's a real shame.

Sounds like Indyfan, has a little jealous, spitefulness, and meanness of the soul, why, I bet you that jesus rode along with Dale more then a few times on that speedway!

ur crazy if u think gordon will be better than earnhardt or petty. gordon will start to slow down like everyone else when he gets old and they get more young guns in there. i tell u this much gordon will never, ever get 7 championships or 200 wins. if earnhardt raced back when petty did, he would have had more wins then he did. and he could sure kick gordons ass.
earnhardt71891 4 years ago
god bless you man , god bless you , you're right on everything you said jeff will never be able to get 7 championships or be as good as dale , thank you for your amazing comment .

fuck u. u have no chance to be as good as dale earnhardt. if all he could do is intimiadate people then how is it that he won a bristol race, one of the hardest if not the hardest race track without any power-stirring. and what sins did he commit. yea he maybe had a few beers and said some things he shouldnt but who are u to judge.
