OK, I'll be the first Calgarian to admit it, half the city are hicks or at least pretend to be during Stampede. If you like to drink, party, and eat pancake breakfasts every morning, then Stampede is for you! Most city-wide celebrations in any city aren't an accurate representation of what the people in that city are really like. The slutty tub girls and homophobic macho guys really are the best population representation of a diverse city. Believe it if you choose.
the funny thing is that none of the people inside the roadhouse or cowboys during this god awful week are locals. they're all tourists from toronto or LA.
Calgary Stampede is the greatest. Always fly continental direct from houston and stay in the finest suite in the Westin to top it off. Totally an awesome experience.

I love that you came to Roadhouse and not Cowboys, I have worked at roadhouse for the last 3 years and I think its by far the best club in calgary.
