  • all are danced songs! I love them

  • the guitar is sooooo perfect

  • Great music, man. Thanks.:}

  • This is really good music but are these songs originals or are they covers?

  • @eddeedde22 they are all original, Sothea voice is noticable

  • the morron adding keyboard and drum beat to the beautiful song suck. listenging to it,you can hear the over laping beat,it go difference direction.

  • does anyone know who's playing the lead guitar on these tracks? is it sinn sisamouth? i know he played guitar and mandolin to write a lot of his songs but i never know if he plays or just sings on the recordings... the guitar sounds so trippy and cool

  • no one really know, a lots of information was lost or destroy by the Khmer Rouge, hopefully some one from that era might remember.

  • thank you for sharing luv it

  • I love this song, especially the beat. Slow or upbeat tempo, who can do better than Sothea...I don't think there will be one for generation to come. Thank you for sharing.

  • man im trying to fin d that song every where the last song =.=

  • really a proof that Khmers were so much more advanced than they are now...the khmer rouge really fucked up Cambodia!!!

  • Rock music from the 60' and 70', it was the best of that time, ok.

  • wrong. during 70's the level of trend and skill is on top notch where its estimated to be equal with around the world. their song is played around the world thats why its still survive today.

today, most of our music is still copied and sing the traditional music. hip hop and barely made it over. disco is more popular. the trend is still out dated.

you take the time and the trend to estimate its level of goodness.

therefore "khmer you cant do beter than this"

  • Should have up load the originals. This music being added with new computerize drums..... would be much better..

  • What a great song!!!!!!!!

  • i would give anything if someone gives me tabs -___-

  • i love all these old khmer song BUT ! please if you're gonna post any more song ? could you please post only original ? becuz that would do those original singer and their sould justice, i hate and a lots of khmer interlect and artist i spoke to also hate all these added instrumentation, they some what ruind the original music plust these peopel chleang den cliam to be a producer after they added a bit instrument on to it, please post only original its beautiful original one, Thank

  • Yeah...the added instruments on the last track are definately a vybe killer =(

The original is AMAZING...Anyone have a song/artist list?

  • Tomorrow I will wake up. Tonight I will sleep. How about you all? Do you know that people like to eat? What foods do you all like to eat? I like to eat. Will you work tomorrow?

  • richierichtevada,

what the fuck are you talkin' about?? they're talkin' about preservin' the originality of oldie songs, not about eatin' & sleepin' you fuckin pig!!

  • fantastic music.. I have a cd compilation of differents band in this style.. Is beautiful and sand at the same time, thinking in what happened in 1975 when more than 2 million of people were murdered (intellectuals and musicians)...

  • Thanks. For some odd reasons I enjoy the classics much more than contemporary.

  • Great collection of Khmer Rock songs, appreciate the upload keep up the good work.

  • I totally agree. It has been the best music, lyric and voice that I have ever heard since I was a child. Now I am in the mid-30s. True talent is still true talent.

  • great music and solo guitar . The 60's is still great , it s classic

  • Does anyone know the name of the first song that plays? I'm dying to know! Also, who sang it?

  • If you are cambodian, I am sure you heard this person name from your parents or friends. But if you are not, I would to introduce you, "Ros Sereysothea" is the best and the greatest female singer of all in Cambodia from 60s and 70s. The first song name " Reab Ka Pel Na" or translated as "When do we get married? ".

  • I am Khmer, actually XD

Oh, thanks, I know the singer! I got a little confused from the picture; I didn't fully recognize her.

Do you know where I can find the lyrics and the translations?

  • can u translate the whole song? : )

  • Sorry, i am not a translator.

  • translate or die....

  • whahaha

  • what is the name of this group?

  • My childhood song, very!! popular all of us sang and acting foolish.

  • Man she was truly a Cambodian Icon, No singer today can hold a light to her

  • Some nice guitar work, her voice outshines it all! realy good songs, thanks

  • hehehe itsa pretty gd i like it

  • this one of my fav songs sung by Rossarey Sothea.

  • Cool! I love them both =D

  • oh man, what a sweet crystal clear voice!!! Khmer Pride!!! thank you.

  • Ooh I love it..are these tracks on a torrent somewhere?

  • its great.. from my opinion no new singer can beat the olden day singers either with voice or rythem... am i right?

  • right you are

  • I agreed...some of the songs now aday is torturing to listen to.lol, nothing is like the classic...

  • The olden day, there were only a few good song writers. They went to college, learn how to write the songs. Not like now, anyone can write Khmer can write a song. In 1975, one song writer left the country and came to US. His name was Malapee, I used to listen how he put words in poem in a flash. He passed away years ago.

  • Oldies but Goodies ! Excellent !

  • Thanks! Will upload more songs...

  • True classic thanks

  • Right! I agree. Thanks buddy.
