The bass and drums sound almost identical to the cure in this and being influenced dosent mean ripping somthing off it means to listen to a song and hearing different tecniques (cant spell) and incorperating them into your own ideas.

well here's a better explanation of who tom delonge is.. This is what he really is.. this is his songs.. not mark hoppus' songs.. to tell you the truth.. mark is just pushing tom around.. he's the boss.. they look happy in blink because of tom.. but look at +44.. they are serious.. i like angels and airwaves better..

he left to spend more time with his wife right? but that doesn't mean that he has quit what he loves. A&A has to tour to support I-Empire sure but they don't tour as much as 30STM plus they're all married as well so there is still way more time to spend with family. i wonder how long it'll be before he gets tired of playing feel good music. but then again playing the same songs almost everyday for 3 consecutive years must also get kinda boring.

I wonder why Matt Wachter would choose to leave a phenom band like 30STM that is revolutionizing the rock category. The story about 'family matters' doesn't seem viable. This music is not at all exceptional... not even memorable. I guess money talks. That must also mean that he does add-in bass lines and never wrote any root lines. That would explain him leaving for better money. Don't know but I guess it's not that big of a deal after all. LOL!

I think A&A and 30STM are very similar; their music genres are Space Rock, Tom and Jared are very artistic, they use a symbology a lot, and they are about society/life; I think Matt chose one of the closest bands to 30STM.We should admire him for the fact that he even joined 30STM, of all of the bands in the world.And it takes courage to change bands so you can balance in your biological family.Really, I think he will always be a part of the Echelon.
