Does anyone know who animated Roger during the voice part? It kinda reminds me of Tom Bancroft's work (the guy who animated Mushu in Mulan) or Glen Keane. It's really fun and cartoony.
Wow, even with the bad resolution this footage is amazing. Jessica looks like the ghost of a toon seamlessly put into the scene, and seeing roger 1.0 with pee wee lending the voice is just great :) Love this movie and love youtube for being around to share this!
Man- I love how stuff like this always changes for the better; such as Jessica and Roger's design! Roger, when from being just a rabbit, to being a rabbit in overalls and having a funny voice with a speech impediment. And Jessica- well, Jessica went from being the stereotypical 40's woman with a sweet to insanely sour attitude, to a sexy, cool, calm character. Well, not on the sight of seeing DIP, atleast..
Wow, I wondered what happened to this footage. I remembered seeing something like it on Disney Channel many years back, when they were showing some behind the scenes stuff long before the film was out. I always remembered the scene of Jessica (?) walking around the guy and interacting with him. Seem to remember it more finished than that though, but maybe it was the same.
Yes, Paul Rubens was the first option regarding to Roger Rabbit's voice, before this project got shelved for some years. In fact, the movie was supposed to be more close to the book in which is based, hence Roger looks and acts in a totally different way.
That was really Paul Reubens doing the voice before he became famous as Pee Wee?

I dunno. I really like this take on Roger, though the final Jessica is clearly superior.

Wow, Paul Reubens was going to be Roger Rabbit.

This was an early 80s test before Richard Williams was brought. I'd say this is from 1982 or so.

@ricarleite ...the voice of Roger was CHARLES FLEISHER...not Robin williams

The guy doing Eddie here is Peter Renaday, a voice actor whose most known role was Splinter in the 80s Ninja Turtles cartoon.

I think they made the right decisions, in terms of what the movie is now vs this.

Jessica and Roger's final designs were brilliant.
