These people seemed so nice and carefree. It's a great reminder of how life went on just fine before you were born, and it will continue to do so after you're gone.
Great video. Its interesting to see everyone posing for the live film as if they are standing still for a photograph :) I like the new music, very mellow - what is it?
The end occurring during the very same week of the 1929 stock market crash! They had no idea of the misery soon to come -- kind of like what happened to us following the election of idiot dubya.
Population in 1929: 121 million.
Today: 307 million.
Postage stamps cpst 2 cents, unemployment level of 3.2%, and total federal spending for the year was a mere $3.13 billion.
mavrilon: you are a real moron, just turn down your volume. What moron's come in here and watch my films. These are my films so either watch it, or turn them off you idiot.
Quite simply, I'm here to gush as a fan - I want to thank you for taking the time to preserve all of these wonderful pieces of old footage. Your contribution is amazing!!!
The women are wearing dresses that were like the A-line shifts of the sixties--completely obscures the female shape. All the women look kind of dumpy in those chemise dresses. Now we have muffin tops.
Great footage! I wonder if any members of the families portrayed in this film (such as their children or grandchildren) even know that this film still exists.
I like the fact that this film shows what life was like (or may have been like) just prior to the stock market crash that happened in October 1929. Especially the last one at the football game, which probably happened just before the crash. Things would be more grim during the next 10-16 years.
It's sad to think that most of the people in this film are dead.

Wow, thats a great peak into those times.
It makes me wish time machines were true, so I
could go back and expeirence that!
Its sad, even the tiniest children in this film are long
gone dead. And so our all those memories.
Change and growing up does stink!

The video is great, but the music is very annoying and distracts from the film.
