  • That's really funny! I was just having a conversation about playing something with one grip in one hand and one in the other! It's a good idea but my teacher would have killed me if i did it in front of him. Good job by the way!

  • What an awesome effin skill to have... that's really great, ty for postin!

  • Excellent! Great technical playing and personality in the music.

  • Hey, Really Good! Can i get the sheet music anywhere?

  • Simplemente maravilloso!

  • aww is so beautiful

  • Stickmasterrr this is jazz. Anything and everything Gershwin wrote (btw you spelled Gershwin wrong in the title) was all jazz. He mainly wrote Rhapsody in Blue for two reasons. 1. Lincoln's Birthday, 2. So people wouldn't associate jazz strictly with swing. Well, there is your daily dose of music history for ya haha.

  • @candlewick163 Actually, he mainly wrote it for money...it was a commission. The elements were inspired by 1920s New York City, and train rides to and fro. It happened to become insanely popular

And in essence, jazz is a performing art, not a compositional art. Yeah, there are jazz standards, and there are real books and what not, but Jazz is not playing a composition, Jazz is playing music, and expressing.

  • @tehxGuardian Jazz is whatever art you want to make it mean to you.

  • Yeah you're really good, but... This is not really jazz?!

  • That was excellent and it looks rather difficult. Glad to see that tradtional grip working for you so well. Very musical. Thanks

  • pretty sure this guy lives somewhere in asia. therefore, he uses traditional grip. stevens is a western kind of thing, everyone in asia uses traditional. it's not a bad grip, just not as popular as stevens in america.

  • I prefer stevens also.

  • I really like this? Can I find this sheet music anywhere?

  • deam u good

  • nice.

  • are you using burton grip in one hand and stevens in the other? and if so why?

  • hi!

yes, just because i feel better in my right hand with burton left hand with (sort of) stevens. but not always. also, i usally need wider range in my left and stronger/straighter stroke in my right.

  • nice percussion studio you got there... haha
