I've always had a certain...morbid fascination with the new 16-core processors with 10-meg pipes. No wonder the VB GUI can track the killer's IP address in real time.
I hope the retards that made this show will NEVER have access to real technology like this when we have it. These people are fucking dangerous with their stupidity.
so realistic, murder investigation teams all have this kinda stuff. y'know, magical versions of microsoft surface, cctv image enhancers that can see the dna strands of a skin cell reflected off someones belt buckle, plasma rifles. etc
It takes the entire combined intelligence capabilities of several nations a decade to find the most wanted man in the world, but these guys can pinpoint anybody's location in a heartbeat.
These shows really bring to light the truth in the statement "ignorance is bliss" I used to love CSI shows before I knew so much about computers/photo-editing/the time it takes to run a lab test..
NBC has a short-lived Christian Slater spy show called My Own Worst Enemy that featured artificially creating multiple personalities in people and the fancy spy agency computers they had were still less advanced than the ones CSI has in this clip.
I hope this show is supposed to be in the future, i mean this technology its not that impossible, the 2:00 one is practically ms surface, and if its the future maybe its more accesible...
So Tony Stark now designs impossible 4d interactive computer systems for crime labs. They'll solve more crimes after they finish creating new elements.
@arbitterm 4D? his... his systems alter space/time? He can actually move elements in the spans of not only dimensional space but also temporal space?
...That's neat. I knew the show was/is endlessly unrealistic... But if I recall, it never completely eviscerated the practicality of space and time... even in it's interfaces... and I don't see it exhibited here either. :S
ok for the fancy video effects and for dismissing the good old lcd screen, keyboard and a mouse, but for the rocket sound effects from the future, thats overkill
I really don't understand how anyone can watch CSI, and most of Jerry Bruckheimer's other regurgitated trash...but I love how much "gold" it produces for us to make fun of!
@Cfrogboy91 actually...that video proves that they spent like a few hundred dollars and hired some guys to put fake images on pieces of glass.....yeah...CSI fails
