You sure can! From what I've observed, Luther tuned his guitar sharp and thus had the same effect as using a capo.

the only thing i saw to make it sound like the actual thing was you dont need to hit the second fret on the B string when you're coming to the end of the solo. other than that it's perfect.

nice work, does anybody have a tab or power tab would be great, this is the tune i have been trying to learn, but need a tab as i have been only just started, and your walk the line is great aswell. 10 out 10 man you get a great sound going. The songs you have put on u tube are the ones why i have always wanted to play, i am waiting to i get better before i try that's alright mamma.
