2. iraq has not been attacked. the taliban was. also, if you really think you can reason with those people, please go do it. i'm sure if we just sit down in a circle with them and talk about our feelings, and maybe sing a song, they will see the error of their ways and stop cutting people's heads off. and then we can all hug it out. thanks for that great suggestion!

The US should not "bully" other countries simply because we can. That is the reason people hate us around the world. You want more planes flying into buildings? Keep acting like a bully.
If kicking one countries ass makes other dictators stop their horrific reigns (as though that makes any sense), why has nothing gotten better since we ousted Saddam?
If Russia was the world power and they decided to oust Obama and occupy our country, how would that fly with you? We do have nukes afterall

The US should NOT bully other countries, I agree. The WORLD should unify against the likes of Saddam. Part of the world (the coalition) all be it small, did stand against the wrongs Saddam committed by not abiding by his cease fire agreements from Desert Storm. The Iraq invasion was needed for the cause of peace.

actually no. China paid for the war. Now we owe them money. So if anything, our debt under bush was to pay off china, among other things.

Well I am sure glad China is paying for the war since they sure don't do jack to help out other than to sell our enemies weapons. Perhaps we shouldn't pay them back and write it off as their contribution to a safer World without Saddam! :)

The King of Saudi Arabia did not invade Kuwait. He was not asked to leave. He was not beaten by the World and sent home. He did not then break every cease fire agreement he signed. Had the King of Saudi Arabia, done so......HE TOO should be ousted. It is just common sense.

And BTW, the rabid republicans want to do away with Medicare. They want no part of a public option. Medicare is an OPTION; old people do not have to take it, they can buy their own insurance. Same goes for Vets too. So the word is out, republicans want to close all VA hospitals and abolish Medicare.

Forget the hollering at Town Hall meetings. Everyone, I mean everyone, STOP whatever you are doing. No more work, no more buying anthing but beer, don't drive nowhere. Don't go to school. Don't pay no taxes. Just sit on your couch, gently fingering your gun, and watch TV 24/7. Do that for about a month, and Obama will head for the exit. Maybe sooner.
