Its a backflip followed by a separate 360 followed by another backflip, he doesn't do more than a 360 in this trick. He said it himself in an interview.. he performs the tricks seperately in a single air which in my eyes is amazing.

He said in an interview it's just a back flip, then a 360, then another back flip, it's all done separately which is what makes it so impressive. If you pause it as he does it you can see him do the first back flip, then carry out the 360 then does the second back flip. The only horizontal rotation he gets throughout the whole trick is is 360 degrees, so all this talk of 720's etc is wrong. I'm just repeating what he said in an interview so I don't care if anyone disagree's with me lol :)

I expected to see what we call in gymnastics, a "double double", or two flips, and two twist! He never inverts his body, so this is more like trickin the eye. Still cool, just nowhere near as dangerous(especially if it was a double double on skates).

Holy shit...this isn't anything really. He starts with a sideflip, throws the backflip nest, doesn't throw the spin in until he straightens out his body (up until this point he has only spun a 360; 180 sideflip, 180 backflip) and adds an additional 180 spin, then continues the sideflip another 180 and finishes with a 180 front flip. The total is a 900 even despite his landing facing up the pipe because a 180 sideflip mix with either a 180 back or front spins u 360 but lands u the opposite way.
